Midnight On The Firing Line, TKO, Eyes, Legacies and In The Beginning establish Sofie was born this year.

Birth of G'Kar on the Narn homeworld. As is tradition, he is given a temporary name until he is 10 years old, then he can choose his adult name according to his religious beliefs.

Conjecture from G'Kar's comments in And Now For A Word. No Compromises establishes the Narn practice of giving their newborn temporary names.

Birth of Londo Mollari on Centauri Prime.

Conjecture, assumes he and G'Kar are about the same age.

Birth of Delenn of the family of Mir on Minbar. Secretly Dukhat begins watching her development, knowing she is a descendant of Valen.

Conjecture, fromThe Deconstruction Of Falling Stars and conjecture from Atonement. Dukhat’s comments to Delenn about her family suggest he has been watching her for some time.

On a hike into the alps, Alfred Bester spots Lara Brazg at the train station and follows her to Paris in an attempt to capture her. Incapacitating the train guard who worked for the underground, Bester follows her into Paris but is caught by Brazg’s associate Portis Nielsson. Shot while escaping, Bester’s Psi call for help brings the Psi Cops that are looking for him, thinking Bester now a rogue himself.

Taken into custody by Dr Sandoval Bey, Bester is transferred to hospital and when he is well enough, faces a tribunal headed by Director Johnston. Bester is put in Dr Bey’s charge and he metes out Bester’s punishment by having him stand on the parade ground outside everyday as still as a statue. After the punishment period,

Dr Bey takes Bester under his wing and the two meet on a regular basis and Bester is taught to appreciate art, literature and music.

With official approval, Alfred Bester is taken on a rogue hunt by Dr Bey, tracking down Fatima Cristoban who has gone rogue from the Corps. They track her to Amsterdam and find she has been raped and tortured by a mundane. Dying before help can arrive, the man is arrested to stand trial. The following day, to distract themselves from the events of the night before, Bester and Dr Bey plan a trip round the historical sights before returning to Geneva.

Called to see Director Johnston, Alfred Bester quizzes him about his friendship with Dr Bey and where his loyalties lay. Three days later Bey is found hanged dead. Believing Johnston was behind Bey’s death, in spite of rumours that Bey had been helping rouges telepaths, Bester begins to plan his revenge on him.

circa 2206.

The Centauri discourage a rebellion by the Narn by bombing seven of their major cities for 6 straight days, 31 hours a day. The Narn, including a young G’Kar spend their days in shelters praying, singing songs eating and sleeping.

Young Londo Mollari becomes friends with another boy, Urza Jaddo of House Jaddo, an old Noble House allied to House Mollari since the early days of the Republic.

Birth of David Mackintyre, future Gunnery Sargeant on the E.A.S. Prometheus.

A Late Delivery From Avalon. Mackintyre is 52 years old.

During the last years of the Centauri occupation of Narn, G'Kar and his parents serve a Centauri family living in G'Kamazad. They are unable to escape Narn because G'Kar's mother is ill. Tensions run high in the household and one day G'Kar's father accidentally spills hot Jhala on the mistress of the house. The Centauri hang him from a Jhawa tree for three days as punishment. Disobeying orders, on the last night G'Kar goes and sees his dying father. He tells G'Kar he is proud of him and to fight and be all the things he never was. G'Kar watches him as he dies, the next day he runs away and kills his first Centauri.

And Now For A Word. G'Kar describes these events as happening when he was barely a pouchling, the actual date is conjecture but before the Centauri left Narn.

Visiting Yedor with her family, Delenn is seperated from her parents and becomes lost. Finding her way into an old temple, Delenn thinks she will wait for her parents here and falls asleep. Waking up, Delenn has a vision of Valen standing over her, bright against the darkness and smiling at her. Her fear goes away as he says she is going to be alright, and if she believed, her parents will come for her. He tells her

"I will not allow harm to come to my little ones here in my great house". Just then the door to the temple opens and Delenn’s parents come running in.

Kell is elected to the Circle. He learns of the Shadow origins of their abilities and is sworn to secrecy.

The Passing Of The Techno-mages:Casting Shadows and Summoning Light. Kell has been a member of the Circle for nearly 50 years. He learned of the true origins of the tech when he came to the Circle.

And The Rock Cried Out, No Hiding Place. Reverend Dexter is 50 years old.

Delenn becomes friends with another little girl called Mayan who writes poetry.

One day as Delenn comes outside to go to temple her father says "I’m sorry Delenn, but you are too big now for me to carry you". She realises then that her father would never again carry her in his arms. Feeling such loss, Delenn knew for the first time that someday she would lose him and looking into her father’s eyes, she saw he was thinking the same thing. At that moment, Delenn didn’t think she could have loved him more.

President Kyoshi of the Eastern Bloc is killed in office 3 days after the end of the War Of The Shining Star, by soldiers who fought for the opposition.

G’Kar formally adopts the name G’Kar in accordance with him being a follower of G’Quan.

No Compromises. G’Kar was 10 when he adopted his adult name.

Birth of John J.Sheridan, son of diplomatic envoy David Sheridan.

Conjecture, based on Bruce Boxleitner's birthdate and The Deconstruction Of Falling Stars. Sheridan being the son of a diplomatic envoy from Points Of Departure. His father's name established in Severed Dreams.

Birth of Elizabeth Lochley.

Data from J.Michael Straczynski. Lochley is 2 years younger than Sheridan.

Londo Mollari joins the Couro Prido duelling society with his friend Urza Jaddo. As is tradition the two are given nicknames: Londo is called "Paso Leati" because he fights like a crazed Leati and Urza is called "Scotura" the silent beast.

Monday May 3rd. 9-15 a.m. EST, Jeffrey David Sinclair is born on Mars. He has one brother, Malcolm.

Sunday June 27th. Del Varner is born on Earth.

Birth of Stephen Franklin, the son of EarthForce General Richard "Fire Storm" Franklin. He has four younger sisters, Juanita, Maria, Celia and Kathy.

Conjecture, comments made in Hunter, Prey suggest Franklin was in his late 30's when he came to Babylon 5 in 2258. And The Sky Full Of Stars establishes he was a qualified Doctor when the Earth-Minbari war broke out. His sisters names are established in GROPOS, assumes he is the eldest child.

Young William Dexter begins spreading the word of The True Gospel Mission Baptist Church.

And The Rock Cried Out, No Hiding Place. Reverend Dexter began preaching 40 years ago.

Saturday February 2nd. Birth of Michael Alfredo Garibaldi on Earth. He is the son of security officer and former Ground Pounder Alfredo Garibaldi, and the grandson of a female Boston Police Officer.

Survivors. Garibaldi is 37. He celebrates his 38th birthday in A Distant Star. His family history is revealed in By Any Means Necessary, The Long Dark and GROPOS.

Londo Mollari becomes fascinated by Centauri women, visiting all the best bars and entertainment centers. One day he is angry about something and sits in a bar stewing. A Centauri dancer leans over and says "Whatever it is it can’t be that bad" and kisses him on the forehead. Londo is so taken with her they marry that same day. Lying in bed with her, he would have rather have chewed off his own arm than wake her up. When she does wake up, Londo discovers she has a voice that could shatter planets. In spite of this he found he truly loved her. But when Londo’s family found out, they told him he had married beneath his station and that if he didn’t divorce her, he would be dead to them, to the family title, the position and the money. He never forgets the look in his wife’s eyes when he tells her; from that night on he is dead to her and Londo is dead inside.

David Sheridan gives his son John his first piece of advice, telling him "Never start a fight, but always finish it".

Conjecture, from Severed Dreams. Assumes David gave him the advice during his formative years.

Every sunday David Sheridan takes his wife and their two children Elizabeth and John out for a drive. They found it fun because they never knew where they would be going. David would ask them to pick a direction and one of them would point and off they drove.

Running down a group of rogue telepaths in New Zealand, Psi Cop Alfred Bester gets a lead on Stephen Walters. Following the lead to Mars, Bester takes charge of the raid against the resistance hideout there. A fatally wounded Walters confronts Bester with the truth of who he really is, Stephen Dexter the son of Fiona and Matthew Dexter.

In a fit of rage Bester kills him and when he is found, Bester is in a fugue and they think he has taken a mind burst so he is hospitalised.

Doctors can find no neurological reason for the paralysis that affects his left hand, and while he is held for observation, Bester performs his first deathbed scan.

Because of their high genetic compatability, Psi Corps arrange a meeting between Psi Cops Alfred Bester and Alisha Ross.

April. Psi Cops Alfred Bester and Alisha Ross are married and honeymoon in Bali.

Monday May 25th. Birth of Morden in Summit New Jersey.

A concerted effort by the Centauri almost crushes the Narn resistance in their war of attrition to drive them off Narn.

The Long Twilight Struggle. G'Sten says the Narn haven't been pushed so far back in 30 years.

G’Kar is recognised as one of the most clever leaders in the Narn resistance, so much so, reports reach the Dilgar on his activities.

Birth Of Catherine Sakai.

Conjecture, from To Dream in The City Of Sorrows. Catherine was a second year student at the academy when she met Sinclair. Chrysalis, the two have known each other for for 15 years. Assumes Catherine joined the academy at 17 and met Sinclair when she was 19.

An individual is born in the Earth Alliance who later in life, arrives on Babylon 5 in June 2258, and dies there in March 2260 aged 35.

Exogenesis. Franklin records the individual's history before autopsying his dead body.

Birth of Cailyn James.

Walkabout and Endgame. Cailyn died in March 2261 of terminal neuroparalysis aged 36.

Sunday December 10th. Lyta Alexander is born on Earth. She is a sixth generation telepath.

Author's note: I have gone with what G'Kar says, as he establishes it in dialogue.

Now serving in the military, Londo Mollari participates in two important campaigns. He is aboard the ship that spearheads the invasion fleet that conquers the Beta System in 9 days, and later takes part in the raid on Phalos 12.

Birth of Marcus Cole on Arisia colony. His mother later has another baby, his younger brother William.

Birth of Matthew Gideon, future Captain of the E.A.S. Excalibur

Crusade:The Needs Of Earth. Gideon is 41 years old.

A young John Sheridan spends his days sitting in his father's garden, staring up into the sky dreaming of faraway places. With the smell of orange blossom in the air, he could just about believe in anything, even magic. He also has fun wandering round creepy places by himself including haunted houses, forbidden paths and Indian burial grounds.

The Geometry Of Shadows. Sheridan relates this piece of childhood nostalgia to Elric saying he was 12 years old at the time and conjecture, from Knives.

Elric moves to the planet Soom, making his home among the native people there. He establishes his place of power in the village of Lok and sets probes up across the planet to monitor the activity that goes on. Elric becomes a respected figure among the population and is looked on as a wise man and counsellor.

Passing Of The Techno-mages:Casting Shadows. Elric moved to Soom over 30 years ago.

Londo Mollari finds his old and dying father alone, in a dark room and crying. His father tells him"My shoes are too tight, but It doesn’t matter because I have forgotten how to dance". It is years before Londo understands the significance of his father’s words.

Conjecture, from The War Prayer. Assumes this was before Londo became head of House Mollari.

The Dilgar conquer the Narn Colony on Hilak 7. Jha'dur the Dilgar War Master, experiments on the grandfather of Na'Toth, placing a device in his brain. When he escapes back to Narn, the device slowly destroys his mind, spirit and body while his family can only watch helplessly. When he dies, the family swear a Chon’Kar against Jha'dur.

Death Walker. Sinclair says the Colony was conquered 30 Earth years ago. Na'Toth details her family's Chon’Kar.

An individual is born in the Earth Alliance who, later in life, becomes part of Babylon 5's Alpha Wing Starfury Squadron.

Babylon Squared. Alpha Seven was 30 when he died of old age caused by the time distortion in Sector 14.

An Earth Alliance individual called Turnbow joins the EarthForce Marine Corps. He earns the nickname "Large" because of his height.

GROPOS. Large has been a Ground Pounder for over 30 years. Assumes Large is his nickname, as the name tag on his uniform reads Turnbow.

Londo Mollari ascends to the position of head of House Mollari and gains access to the family's Purple Files, containing scandalous gossip on other Houses that could be used to bring them down.

Soul Mates. Londo is celebrating the 30th anniversary of his Ascension day, presumably as head of House Mollari. Born To The Purple, Assumes Londo gained access when he became head of the House.

Now head of House Mollari, Londo is invited to the Royal Palace. He becomes good friends with Prime Minister Malachi and discovers Minister Varini’s only vice is sobriety, cultivated against the accepted norm. Londo notices a single guard standing in a courtyard, and no one knows what he is guarding. Checking some old Court records, they discover that an order given by the Emperor’s daughter 200 years previously had been forgotten about and never countermanded.

Conjecture, from And The Rock Cried Out,No Hiding Place, In The Kingdom Of The Blind and A Tragedy Of Telepaths. The Coming Of Shadows establishes Londo is not yet part of the Royal Court.

The E.A.S. Ares is caught in a civil war between two mid range colonies. The ship is shot down and First Officer Richard Franklin is captured by enemy forces. The families of the crew are told there wasn’t much chance that anyone would survive or that any survivors would be allowed to live by the enemy. EarthForce take almost 2 months to capture the base. Young Stephen Franklin watches ISN as they open up the enemy base and three injured soldiers come out, his father one of them. The base doctor had kept them alive over the objections of the C.O. because he believed that all life was sacred and had to be preserved. When Stephen saw his father walk out, supported by the doctor he knew what he wanted to do with his life. The doctor is later shot by his own men for being a traitor

The Dilgar led by their War Master Jha'dur, invade and conquer the Non Aligned Worlds in Sectors 24, 39, 43 and 58. She performs experiments on the inhabitants of Latig 4, wiping out the entire population by infecting them with Staffords Plague.

Tuesday August 30th. Susan Ivanova is born in St Petersburgh, Russian Consortium to Sofie and Andrei Ivanov. She has an older brother, Ganya.

Eyes. From Ivanova's computer biographical display. TKO establishes her older brother's name. In The Beginning shows the two meeting before Ganya is killed.

Birth of Laurel Takashima.

Conjecture, from The Gathering. Laurel had just completed her EarthForce training when she was assigned to Mars Colony security, shortly before the Food Riots. Assumes she was 20 when she graduated.

After a 100 year war of attrition, the Centauri are finally driven from Narn. They leave behind some of their weaponry which the Narn dismantle and duplicate.

Midnight On The Firing Line and In The Beginning. G'Kar states the length of the occupation.

Jha'dur destroys the planets Tirolus, Comac 4 and Halax.

Birth of Thomas Jordan, future construction worker on all five Babylon stations.

The Earth Alliance joins the war against the Dilgar Invasion. Fighting in one of the platoons under Richard Franklin is Alfredo Garibaldi, the father of Michael Garibaldi.

GROPOS. General Franklin reveals this information when he hears Garibaldi's name.

The invasion ends when Alliance forces retake Balos from the Dilgar. Among the EarthForce pilots is the father of Jeffrey Sinclair, who never forgets what he sees after the planet is retaken. Jha'dur flees the Non Aligned Sectors after the battle, and is sheltered by the Wind Swords clan of the Minbari Warrior Caste.

With the Dilgar Invasion over, trade treaties are negotiated between the Earth Alliance and The League Of Non Aligned Worlds. Earth colonies begin springing up every where.

Hunter, Prey and In The Beginning.

Jeffrey Sinclair is sent to a Jesuit School. He learns that morning is the best part of the day and would rise at 5 a.m. for sunrise mass.

Babylon Squared. Sinclair was taught by Jesuits for 3 years.

At the secret request of Dukhat, Delenn leaves the temple becoming an acolyte serving the Grey Council.

Atonement. Delenn has been an acolyte for 10 years, assumes Dukhat was behind her choosing.

Serving the Grey Council, Delenn continues her studies under the tuteledge of Rathenn and Draal and they become friends. Draal teaches her the principles of sentience, emphasising the third principle: the capacity for self sacrifice, the conscious ability to override evolution and self preservation for a cause, a friend or loved one. Draal also teaches her a half truth is worse than a lie.

Conjecture, data from J.Michael Straczynski and All Alone In The Night. A Voice In The Wilderness, assumes they taught Delenn after she became an acolyte serving the Grey Council.
