Q: There seems to be some confusion arising on the UK newsgroup about which group of the three trilogies will be coming out next

JMS: My guess (it's to some extent a matter of how fast they get it done after I turn in the outlines) is that we'll get the next Psi Corps novel first, then a Technomage novel, then the final Psi Corps/Bester novel, then the first Centauri novel, the second Technomage novel, and after that your guess is as good as mine.

Q: Asks if the change of network will affect what network shows Crusade in Canada.

JMS: No, it should have no impact on that market.

Q: Suggests taking Crusade to The WB Network.

JMS: WB Network is out of the question, due to the way WB is structured. It's a very long, corporate story, just take my word for it...SFC is the best option for us.

Q: Are the authors of the novels on their own with regard to scientific accuracy?

JMS: No, often the authors send along questions, those get relayed to us, and in some cases, as with Keyes first book, they get referred to JPL which then answers 'em.

Q: Will you be reverting back to your original plan and air "Racing the Night" first? I ask since you stated that TNT requested you reshuffle your story and make an introductory episode, titled "War Zone".

JMS: No, because the season was structured in such a way as to make that impossible. You'll understand when you see what was done.

Q: Have you ever thought of making a novelization of "Sleeping in Light"? Either writing it yourself or assigning it to another author?

JMS: No, not really. Not sure I'd want it done that way. Let the internal thoughts/monologue stay internal.

01/02/99 - 06/02/99

Q: It was said a while back that one of the directors you wanted to utilize in the production of Crusade was Goran Gajic. Have you assigned him an episode yet?

JMS: Yes, Goran has been slated for a Crusade episode.

Q: One part of it [Crusade rough cut reviews] that caught my attention is a reference to the shuttle and fighter bays being pressurized, but having them open to space, the atmosphere being kept in by a 'magnetic' shield.

JMS: No, there is a definite (and very large) airlock door that closes after ships enter the flight deck, so it can then be pressurized.
